eZo Festival Showcase at The 1896 Studios & Stages, Brooklyn, 10/17 & 10/18

On October 17 and 18, 2026, eZo Festival makes its New York debut with a showcase at 

The 1896 Studios & Stages in Brooklyn. Presented by Emolas Corporation, the event marks the first time eZo - one of Georgia's most distinctive electronic music and art festivals - has appeared in the United States, arriving in New York directly following a tour through Germany.

Founded in 2015 and organized by the Mzesumzira Community, eZo built its reputation in the forested hills above Tbilisi, where it grew into far more than a house and techno festival. Rooted in tolerance, openness, and DIY collectivism, eZo paired its music program - spanning house, deep house, and electronic live sets - with art installations, sustainability-minded production, and a close-knit sense of community that shaped a decade of Georgia's underground music scene. After a change to its longtime home's land-use status forced a hiatus, the festival returned in 2026 at a new setting by the Tbilisi Sea, carrying its original ethos into its next chapter.

The Brooklyn showcase brings that spirit abroad for the first time, introducing New York audiences to the sound and atmosphere that eZo has spent a decade cultivating in Georgia. The event unfolds over two nights, offering local audiences, the Georgian diaspora, and the city's broader electronic music community a direct encounter with the festival's lineup and identity.

The 1896 Studios & Stages provided a fitting setting for the showcase. Housed across three turn-of-the-century factory buildings in Bushwick, the venue is known for its soaring skylit ceilings, exposed brick interiors, and adaptable indoor-outdoor layout, making it one of Brooklyn's most distinctive spaces for live music and immersive events.
